Heavy Weight Lose Weight and Stay Slender!

We all want to be nice and slender folks right? But what's with all this 'I've gotta lose weight fast' business?' Or 'I need to shed 10 pounds in 2 weeks'. Listen up, and this is very important; rapid weight loss is not good for you at best, and can be extremely dangerous at worse. If it was up to me I would have all these fast weight loss programs banned without further ado. No one got fat overnight right, so why would you think you should be able to undo all those months or years of bad eating habits in a jiffy?

Let's be a little realistic here, if fast weight loss was safe and easy to do then none of us would have a weight problem would we! As soon as we gained a couple of unsightly kilos, we'd jump straight onto one of these lose weigh fast programs and we'd be back in shape before you could say chocolate biscuit.

Sure we have special dieting foods, but more importantly we have lists of normal healthy foods that can be purchased at the supermarkets, and if consumed correctly will assist with not just healthy and steady weight loss but with great overall physical fitness too.

Quite often folks will come up to me in the gym and say something ridiculous like I want to lose weight but I don't know how. Lose weight by putting less in your mouth and getting more exercise is how I usually reply. "You have weight, lose weight and stay slim. 1, 2, 3". After such a harsh response, I then usually go on to say that none of these so called rapid lose weight diets or magic losing weight tips suggested in magazine articles are going to work unless the individual follows through.

I've lost count on how many newbies I've seen come and go through the gym's revolving door this past couple of years. It's the same old story, folks want to loss weight quickly and easily and when it doesn't happen overnight, they give up and throw the towel in. You've got to follow through folks and what's more you've got to change your lifestyle forever if you're serious about living a slimmer, healthier existence.

So let's knock the idea on how to lose weight fast right on the head and start over again. Get that excess fat off you gradually. You should be able to see progress on a weekly basis if you find a healthy program that suites you. But don't forget, dieting alone will not work. You have to EXERCISE too. And before you start thinking something like you haven't got time to exercise, we're not talking about marathon training or trips to the gym every night of the week. Walk the dog, go for a stroll, get into gardening, whatever, but move!

Exercise is nothing less that moving your butt. It can be gentle, vigorous, or somewhere in between, but the bottom line is that healthy eating coupled with regular exercise WILL get you into tip top shape in not time at all, so long as you follow through, and what's more you'll begin to feel just fantastic too.

Forget those weight loss supplements, new fangled diets, and special weight loss foods, and just embark on a regime of healthy eating and regular movement. Have weight, lose weight, and stay slim – 1, 2, 3. It really is as easy as a, b, c, when you put your mind to it.
