Not meaning to start this piece off on a facetious note, but pot bellies are not confined to pigs! There's a huge misconception that getting the right stomach exercise equipment will see a jelly belly flattened in a matter of weeks. It won't! What your hard fought stomach muscle exercises will do, is work out and tone those stomach muscles. But if you've still got your pot belly, your upper and lower stomach exercise routine would have been in vain, as your six pack abs will be latent under that stubborn fat! Hmm! It's making a very encouraging read so far is it!
IEven though most of us dislike those stomach muscle exercises routines, we persevere because we want that perfect stomach more than we want a chubby tummy. But as mentioned above, any tone stomach exercise will reap few rewards until that fat has been gotten rid of with some form or aerobic exercise. If you like, you can just work stomach muscle. Exercises of this type WILL work no matter how fat your belly, but you will not see those results until you lose the lard. Do you really want to put yourself through the ab wringer for nothing? No of course you don't, so make sure you work aerobics into your stomach muscle exercises if you want that flat pack six-pack this summer.
Let's face it, there's nothing more attractive than a flat stomach be you a man or a woman, although I don't personally like to see the six-pack effect on women. A flat belly not only looks good, but it feels just great too! The clothes we wear fit and hang better and they're much more comfortable to wear too. Alas, the flat belly is like so many things in life, we don't appreciate it until it's gone. That usually means late 30's early 40's for many of us, although many youngsters also have problems these days too due to lack or exercise and poor diet.
The Best Stomach Exercises Won't Noticibly Reduce Flab!
Once the excess fat begins to burn off through regular exercise and a healthy diet, then the abdominal exercise regime begins to really feel worth the effort. Just imagine proudly cutting the lawn during those summer months without the big belly hanging over the shorts, and for you ladies you can once again potter in the garden in a bikini or swim suite without running for cover every time the next door neighbor sticks his head over the fence to say hi.
So let us just reiterate here; Fat bellies will not disappear just because you’re doing stomach exercises! I know, I’ve tried! The toned abs will be there, only latent. That’s right folks, they will be hidden from view because they are covered by your gut. Aerobic exercise burns fat, stomach exercise tones stomach muscles.
So you have to exercise the whole body and not just exercise for the stomach if you are to achieve your goals. There are of course numerous flat stomach exercise plans to choose from, and some of these can be tough on the lower back, so you might need to seek a little professional help and advice at finding something that's right for you. Any trainer at the local gym should be able to get you started, even it you don't patronize their facility, I'm sure they'll be happy to advise on a regime for the home.
Battling the Belly Fat with Aerobic Exercise? Let’s just recap on the difference between building up muscles and fitness. Stomach crunches and other various muscular workout routines doesn’t mean you will get fit. To improve fitness levels requires some form of aerobic exercise which just can’t be got though laying on a mat or a workbench.
