My Simple Diet Plan!
Submitted by reader

Most things in life do the full circle and exercise workout, diet, and healthy lifestyle options are no exception. The latest diet ideas are quite often old diet ideas repackaged. Over the years, I've probably been through just about every diet planner going from: fast weight loss diets; the fasting diet; and the various step by step diet which requires the meticulous counting of calories while munching on a carrot.

One day I woke up and realised I couldn't see the forest for the trees. There was to be no more healthy diet plans or low carb high protein diet books and other well marketed weight loss programs for this chubby lass. Back to basics was all I needed. Back to basics simply meant I had to rid myself of temptation and gluttony.

If I'm honest, I know what I can eat safely and what I can't, so all I needed to do was apply that knowledge into a plan of action. Today, I put less down my gullet, get regular, enjoyable exercise (important), and learn how to enjoy fillings foods that don't fill you out! A simple concept that's not always easy to maintain, I know that, but with a little determination to succeed, you will soon realise that the best free weight loss program is your own.

Low Fat High Protein Diet Weight Loss Programs

So do these low fat, high protein diet, weight loss programs really work? And what's more, are they healthy and safe? After all, there's been nothing but controversy following the high fat, high protein diet menu since it became a popular alternative to the calorie counting diets that so many got used to. After the popularity of Dr. Atkins Diet high protien high fat eating plan, so came the copycats of the high protein diet, weight loss alternatives. Of course, every new introduction had its own twist which made it so much better than any high or low fat, high protein diet that came before it. But the fact of the matter is that they all work with regards to weighloss, but are they really safe?

Dr Atkins High Protein Diet Weight Loss Plan Guarantees Weight Loss!

If a diet plan has stood the test of time, that is been around for a good few years, then there's a pretty good chance it is one of those diets which work if you work it. With any high protein diet, weight loss is inevitable, even though sometimes a little controversial. A low fat high protein diet mustn't be confused with high fat high protein diet menu as they both offer different ways. These diet extremes seem to have as many for them as there are against, which really confuses those wanting to make an informed decision about starting a high protein diet weight loss program.

Without any question of doubt, the modern marketing media is very clever and knows exactly how to tap into our fears and insecurities. Simple yet powerful advertising can convince most of us that we need their product or service or else face the consequences. Although the infamous Atkins Diet is hardly what you would refer to as a low fat high protein diet, it is still nonetheless yet another extreme and unbalanced way of eating. Yet the Atkins marketing team managed to convince millions worldwide that this was a medically sound diet that posed no health risks when followed exactly as it was laid out. So be it a high protein diet menu or whatever, if there's something missing then it's unbalanced, and that's bad news for anyone trying to get fit and healthy.

Low Carbohydrates Diet

Most people who go on a diet, any diet be it a strict high protein diet weight loss program or some calorie counting plan, eventually come off it too. Any dieter will tell you that once off a diet, on comes the weight again and usually more than before. If you're reading this, you may have an interest in something like the South Beach diet which is low in fat yet high in protein, or the Akins diet which is high in protein and high in fats, but the secret to maintaining you target weigh is not so much about diets as a change in lifestyle.

There's a simple suggestion when it comes to personal dieting. If your gut feeling (forgive the pun!), tells you that a particular eating plan is not right for you, then steer well clear of it. Millions of folks the world over embraced the now infamous Atkins diet, yet didn't feel easy with slithering strings of wobbly fat and chicken skin down their gullet, despite seeing real weight loss and reading the good doctors opinion that all was well. Even today, there are those medical professionals who argue for and against this particular diet, while many say it has resulted in tens of thousands of premature deaths. Whatever your take, go with your gut feeling and get advice before starting. If a low fat high protein diet sound better to you than a high fat high protein option, then you know which path to pursue.

Summary: If you want to lose weight without those hunger pains, then the high protein diet weight loss plan will probably work for you. There's a lot of good to be said for the high protein diet menu and the choices it provides for those on such diets, but because it is what is is, which is a bit of an extreme and somewhat unbalanced way to consume food, then always consult the advice of a professional prior to going on this, or any other type of major change in your daily food consumtion.
